History of Chacon Belts and Buckles:

In 1974, Bruce Erickson founded Chacon Belts and Buckles. Bruce started belt production in his cabin. In the beginning, he would make some belts, mostly one of a kind, then go to Santa Fe to sell them door-to-door to the retailers around the Plaza. His reputation grew and eventually, Bruce was able to sell pieces over the phone.

As Bruce watched belt companies come and go in the broader national market, his stability and absolute guarantee that he backs his products made Chacon Belts and Buckles even more in demand. Bruce eventually designed an extensive line of buckles to supplement his product line.

Today, Chacon Belts and Buckles continue the traditions of high quality, handcrafted, American made quality products of sterling silver and high-quality materials. Their engraved silver is hand done by experienced artisans with only the highest standards of work.
