Akris is pleased to share the upcoming world premiere of AKRIS – Fashion With a Heritage, a new documentary by filmmaker Reiner Holzemer.
Directed by Holzemer, the film follows Albert, Creative Director, and Peter Kriemler, President, over two years, offering rare insight into their creative process and the family story behind one of fashion’s last independent houses.
From the atelier in St. Gallen to the show in Paris – including a fitting with Princess Charlène of Monaco and a conversation with architect Sir David Chipperfield – the film unfolds as a quiet yet powerful portrait of creativity, passion, and craftsmanship.
We are honored to announce that the film has also been included as an Official Selection in the Features Category of the 2025 Tribeca X Award Competition at the 24th Tribeca Festival.
